The following testing regulations are intended to maintain test order and protect test takers' rights. Please read them carefully and comply with all instructions and requirements before, during, and after the test. Failure to comply may result in disqualification,
the test not being scored, and no request for test rescheduling or a refund being granted.
1. Test date/venue: Please check admission details online before the test date. You may not request changes to the admission details. (To support environmental sustainability, we have adopted a paperless process. We
no longer send the admission details by post.)
2. Please arrive at the testing room 30 minutes before the start of the test. Find your seat number on the seating chart and take your seat. No one will be admitted after testing has begun, including the time allotted
for completing general information on the answer sheet. Late arrivals will be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the test.
3. On the day of the test, please bring an acceptable form of identification.
4. Acceptable forms of identification: Only original identification documents will be accepted. Copies are not accepted.

5. Upon entering the testing room, you must present a valid ID. The name, ID number, and photograph on the ID must match your registration information and your identity.
6. Test takers wearing glasses, masks (except when required by regulations or for special needs), or other items covering or attached to facial features shall remove them for identity verification upon the proctors'
instructions.
7. Personal belongings other than those required to take the test must be left outside the testing room in the area designated by the proctors. Please avoid bringing valuables to the test venue. We assume no responsibility
for lost items.
8. To maintain test integrity and prevent disturbances caused by electronic devices, electronic devices or wearable devices (including mobile phones, smart watches, smart glasses, Bluetooth earbuds, etc.) or any other
items with digital display, communication, audio recording, video recording, photography, storage, or transmission functions must be powered off and left outside the testing room before entry. Failure to comply will result in your test not being scored, and
no request for test rescheduling or a refund will be granted.
9. Test takers shall not wear hats, earplugs, or other items that may cover facial features, hinder identity verification, or interfere with the proctors' duties during the test.
10. The test lasts for approximately 40 minutes without any scheduled breaks. Anyone who leaves the room or submits the test materials early will be considered to have withdrawn from the test. If you must temporarily
leave the testing room due to unavoidable circumstances, permission must be obtained from a proctor, and you must be accompanied by a proctor. Any time lost during the absence will not be compensated.
11. During the test, please comply with the following rules. Failure to comply will result in your test not being scored, and no request for test rescheduling or a refund will be granted.
(1) Pencils and paper will be provided on the day of the test. Test takers may take notes only after the speaking test has begun. All pencils and paper must be returned to the proctor after
the test and may not be taken out of the testing room or the test venue.
(2) Test takers are strictly prohibited from talking or communicating with one another during the test.
(3) Test takers must comply with all test regulations and follow the instructions given by the proctors throughout the test. Test takers may not operate or use the computer on their own without
the permission of a proctor.
12. To ensure safety and maintain test order, video cameras may be in operation at the test site.
13. Making noise, smoking, eating, drinking, chewing betel nuts, and chewing gum are prohibited in the testing room. If, on the day of the test, you damage equipment at the test site, interfere with the administration
of the test, or disrupt order at the test site after being warned by staff, you may be prohibited from continuing the test and required to leave the test site.
The local test administrator (Chun Shin Ltd.) reserves the right to prohibit you from registering for or taking the test for a period of three years.
If, as a consequence of your behavior, other test takers are disturbed during the test or are prevented from continuing the test, this constitutes a violation of their rights and interests. In this case, the local test administrator (Chun Shin Ltd.) reserves
the right to take legal action to protect its own rights and those of the other test takers.
14. Devices with audio or video recording functions may not be brought into the testing room. If you are suspected of possessing such a device or engaging in audio or video recording during the test, the testing organization
reserves the right to require you to present the device and submit to an inspection. If you refuse to cooperate, you will not be permitted to continue the test, and your test will not be scored.
15. The TOEIC test materials are copyrighted by ETS®. Duplicating and disseminating test material without the permission of ETS is strictly prohibited. Any attempt to remove test material from the testing room or to
engage in audio recording, video recording, or any other form of reproduction will result in a five-year ban from the test. The local test administrator (Chun Shin Ltd.) reserves the right to take legal action.
16. Taking the test for someone else or allowing someone to take the test for you will result in a three-year ban from the test for all parties involved. The test administrator reserves the right to take legal action
against the individuals involved.
17. If the unforeseen circumstances (natural disaster, pandemic, strikes, demonstrations, etc.) prevent the test from proceeding as scheduled, the following arrangements will apply:
(1) If the test cannot be held as scheduled or is interrupted, the test administrator will notify test takers of the revised arrangements by e-mail and text message.
(2) If the test site becomes unavailable due to venue restrictions or other circumstances, the test administrator will notify test takers of the replacement test site by e-mail and text message.
(3) If you are unable to attend the rescheduled test date or test site, you may apply for a refund within the specified notification period. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be
accepted.
18. In the event of an epidemic or pandemic, the test administrator may implement special testing measures to ensure the safety of all test takers. Such measures may include temperature measurement, wearing face masks,
disinfection procedures, or denying admission to test takers showing symptoms of illness. Test takers are required to cooperate with these measures.
19. If a test cannot be scored for any reason, the test administrator may arrange a free retest, depending on the circumstances.
20. The test administrator (Chun Shin Ltd.) reserves the right of final interpretation of these regulations.
